Program: AffiliateFuel The Scoop: A high-payout CPA network with quality offers. Pretty picky, but worth it for the quality site. The Good: High payouts for offers, personal attention, good statistics and flexible banner code. The Bad: Many offers require visitor to pay, resulting in lower conversion rates for free sites. The Review: Affiliate Fuel can be described as FineClicks for the elite. It is a CPA network that is pretty selective about who it takes, and with good reason: the offers it has are pretty lucrative, ranging from $1.00 for free program download to $60 for a web-hosting registration. While most of the higher paying offers require visitors to sign up or pay for something, there are a few freebies to be found. (They currently have about 60 offers all told.) Ads are available in many formats from the standard banner and skyscraper, to low-footprint buttons and text-links, to email text and full-page popups. One great feature of the program is that they have rotators for all standard banner sizes: you can get one piece of code to randomly serve up all the 468x60 banners you chose to run. This makes it very easy to add and drop offers without the need to update the code across your websites. Of course, you can also grab the code for individual ads if you want more control over which offers run where. Their statistics are pretty detailed, showing ad views/clicks/actions for all the campaigns you are running, as well breakdowns by day. (You can also look at historical data, as well as network-wide data, to compare how well an ad is doing on your pages versus the rest of their client base.) The minimum payout is $25, and they pay on Net60 terms, though they claim that so far no payment has taken longer than 35 days from end of month. They have a referal program paying out 5% of any webmaster you send, plus a $2 bounty on signup. One thing that we were pleasantly surprised by was their staff's dedication to the webmasters who get accepted. We were contacted by Affiliate Fuel's account manager, who went to look at the site, and found a page that was particularly well suited for one of their offers, and wrote to tell us about it. This sort of thing really sets a company apart, since they show that you are not just another source of revenue to them.
